EVIDENT is joining forces with Arnold Wong, a recognized authority in digital asset fundraising, who has been appointed as Partner & Managing Director to build and lead this practice. This partnership aligns with our broader strategy to provide a wide range of capital allocators with comprehensive access to both off-chain and on-chain funds, assets, and projects.
Arnold Wong’s appointment as Partner & Managing Director is the culmination of a long-standing professional relationship with Florian M. Spiegl, CEO of EVIDENT. Their shared vision for the future of the digital asset industry, coupled with their aligned approach to investment and business strategy, made this partnership a natural evolution. Arnold’s prior experience includes pioneering a digital asset fundraising practice at a leading firm, where he served as Director & Head of Digital Assets during a time when such roles were rare and required a forward-thinking approach. His core philosophy is to be highly deliberate, selective and thoughtful with the funds and investors he works with, while putting trust above everything else.

Under Arnold Wong’s leadership, ECA team will be instrumental in advancing EVIDENT’s mission. Supported by a team of seasoned professionals in operations, compliance, legal, and marketing, Arnold has already begun expanding the ECA team, including the recent hiring of Amy Ye as Business Development Associate.
ECA team will focus on capital raising efforts for emerging alternative asset managers in asset classes including private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds, as well as direct projects/assets. While maintaining a strong specialization in digital assets, ECA team will also target sectors such as technology, artificial intelligence, and clean energy. EVIDENT believes that these industries will increasingly converge, creating new opportunities for growth and investment.
ECA team is tasked with a broad and ambitious mandate, raising capital for both off-chain and on-chain initiatives. Arnold joined EVIDENT to build and lead EVIDENT Capital Advisors, the alternative asset fundraising practice within the Group, focusing on digital assets. Prior to joining EVIDENT, Arnold helped build and led a digital asset fundraising practice, working with top-tier global Private Equity/VC funds and Hedge Funds, as well as professional investors ranging from Single Family Offices, HNWIs to Institutional Investors. Arnold spent a combined 15+ years in Fundraising, Investment Banking (Mergers & Acquisitions and Coverage), Corporate Finance, and Strategic Advisory with global institutions such as Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Scotiabank, and BMO Capital Markets in Canada and Hong Kong.
To stay sharp, Arnold has a passion for hybrid racing, running on the road/track/trails, weight training, tennis, golf, and basketball. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Major in Finance) from the University of Alberta in Canada.
Amy joined EVIDENT Capital Advisors to support the alternative asset fundraising business. Prior to joining EVIDENT Capital Advisors, Amy worked in a placement agent firm where she focused on fundraising for global leading Private Equity, Venture Capital and Private Credit funds across institutional and family office investors in the Greater China region.
Having lived in mainland China, Canada, and Hong Kong, Amy possesses a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and dynamics. She is passionate about bridging connections between global fund managers and local Asian investors.
Amy holds a Master's Degree in Marketing from HKU Business School at the University of Hong Kong, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Economics and Statistics from Queen’s University in Canada.
